What is one-way pricing and how does it work?
With one-way pricing, you pay only for the distance you travel — one side of the trip. Most taxi services charge for the return journey too even if you don't use it. At Velan Taxi, you pay only what you travel, saving you up to 40%.
Are toll and other charges included in the fare?
Our per-km rate is for the cab hire. Toll charges and state permits are paid separately at actuals. Driver bata (allowance for overnight trips) may also apply. We will always inform you of these charges at the time of booking — no surprises.
Do you operate at night or on holidays?
Yes! We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — including holidays, festival days, and late-night or early-morning trips. Whether it's a 2 AM airport run or a midnight emergency, we're available.
